Children, Young People & Adults with SEND
Our services support individuals with SEND at all stages of life, with a strong focus on key transitions, including:
- Preparing for adulthood

A core element of our work is supporting young people and adults with SEND to prepare for the world of work, through:
- Supported volunteering placements
- Preparation for supported internships
- Employability and workplace readiness skills
- Building confidence, routine, and workplace stamina
Parents & Carers
We provide dedicated support for parents and carers, recognising the emotional, mental, and practical pressures that can arise, particularly during times of change.
Our support includes:
- Training and information sessions
- Peer support and facilitated group discussions
- In-person and virtual meet-ups
- Opportunities to connect with professionals and services
This support helps reduce isolation, promote positive mental health, and strengthen family resilience.
Whole-Family & Respite Support
While parents and carers engage in training or wellbeing sessions, individuals with SEND can access safe, structured respite support within our centre.
During these sessions, individuals develop essential independent living and wellbeing skills, including:
- Household tasks such as cooking, meal preparation, and personal care
- Budgeting, money management, and financial literacy
- Community navigation, including safe use of public transport
- Social skills to support relationships, belonging, and reduced isolation
Professionals Delivering Training & Support
Our centre is also a welcoming space for professionals delivering training and wellbeing support, including:
- SEND specialists
- Therapists and wellbeing practitioners
- Employability and life-skills trainers
- Health, education, and social care professionals
We provide accessible, supportive environments that enable high-quality, inclusive delivery.
Charities, Voluntary & Community Groups
We actively collaborate with:
- Charities and voluntary organisations
- Community and grassroots groups
- Peer-led support networks
Our spaces are used to deliver inclusive programmes, workshops, and community-based initiatives that promote mental health, wellbeing, inclusion, and connection.

Sowing Seeds Wellbeing is also for members of the local community who want to:

- Take part in wellbeing, creative, or nature-based activities
By opening our spaces to the wider community, we help reduce stigma, encourage understanding, and create opportunities for meaningful connection across generations and abilities.
Supporting Families in our Community
Our welcoming, flexible centre is available to hire for one-off or regular events, with four bright, spacious rooms and additional equipment to suit your needs. From a fully equipped sensory space to an open room for yoga, fitness, or creative sessions, we’ll prepare the space to work for you.
The centre is primarilly home to Sowing Seeds Wellbeing, supporting individuals with SEND, their families, and the wider community through inclusive spaces that nurture positive mental health, wellbeing, and connection.
